This stitching project goes along with one of my other favorite activities - golf. I am knitting a set of club covers to match my new golf bag. The knitting is coming along nicely, and I enjoy making them. The tops (hoods) will be knitted with eyelash yarn and will have a fluffy furry look.
The free pattern was found via Ravelry and were designed by Chris Knits in Niagara.
I cannot take credit for the striped pattern that I am adding as they were a modification by another Ravelry member (Midget403) who does not have a blog but has made wonderful knitted items that she shares on Ravelry.
This summer has been busy and going by fast. Other than attending some nice quilt shows, these golf club covers have been my only indulgence in needlework.
I did make time to do my very favorite summertime activity - walk along a sandy beach. This is Lake Huron near the town of Oscoda, Michigan.
May you all enjoy the rest of the summer! Of course, that may include a visit to this week's Slow Sunday Stitching hosted by Kathy's Quilts.

What a fun idea! And such a colour coordinated golfer!

Your golf club covers are so cute. I love walking along the water's edge too!
