Santa's Tree

phillipmartin.info

Despite our sweltering July heat wave, thought of a Christmas project continues while I work on Santa.

During the past week, I attended a needlepoint embellishment class for suggestions and assistance on the tree and star that Santa is holding. A worthwhile class indeed.

While TV watching golf's prestigious British Open and while joining others at Kathy's Slow Sunday Stitching linky party, Christmas needlework continues.

I am sitting watching the British Open right now and waiting for the next wave of extreme heat to settle in today. Definitely an indoors day. Your tree and star look great.

Enjoy the golf and the needlework. I stay cold all the time... opposite of most women my age! lol so I do enjoy the heat but don't wanna stay out in it for extended times.... I love your little Christmas tree and hope you keep blogging your progress on this Jill! Kathi

The indoors day is perfect for watching the B Open just as it is for hand stitching. Love watching the majors. Thanks for liking the tree and star.

Hoping there are no missed stitches while watching golf. Lol! Living in the south is perfect for your thermostat. I wish the tree was a brighter green. We are our worse critics, aren't we.

I've just settled down to watch the golf highlights, although I do know who won! Love that Santa!

I'll watch the golf highlights also. Shhh on who won other than I was happy for him and family. I managed to make good progress on Santa.
