Summer stitching has continued on the blue needlepoint Santa. The majority of his face was completed other than eyebrows which will be stitched with an angora fiber. As angora is a fuzzy fiber, it is best to do at the end so fibers are not picked up with other colors.
While joining Kathy at Slow Sunday Stitching, some more background work will be completed.
Have a good week,
Jill

Love it - I have a little Christmas stitching I should prep to take when we travel this fall - surely I can stick one more kit in the motorhome?
Beautiful photo of the Lake Huron, the Blue Santa is coming along nicely.
I love relaxing by a lake. Your photo is beautiful. Santa is looking great.
I love your Christmas Stitchery progress... that background cross hatch it awesome :)
Your Lake Huron is very inviting too. :) Have a wonderful week yourself and take time to smell the roses even though you are squeezing out the last of summer still too friend!

Since your Christmas stitching is 'little' and if you have time to prep, I'm sure you could find a spot in your motorhome. 😉
Thanks Deb. I hope to see more of Lake Huron this upcoming weel.
Being by a lake is relaxing and enjoyable. I'm enjoying Santa.
Background stitches goes over four threads so it goes fast yet produces a nice finish. I plan on seeing more of Lake Huron this week and perhaps stick my toes into it. Enjoy your week!
What a lovely place to spend an afternoon! You've made great progress on Santa too.
Thanks Sarah. Santa went on a a little getaway this week. Hope to post his travels next week.
Great progress on Santa... what a lovely view you have to enjoy while stitching!
